Transportation

By Taxi

Taxis are easily available at Changi International Airport and are generally comfortable and safe. The journey to and from the hotel takes about half an hour, and costs approximately SGD 25 to SGD 35. Getting to Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, is just 30 minutes away from most parts of mainland Singapore by taxi.

By MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) train

The nearest MRT station to Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore (10-minute walk) is Orchard Road.

Lunch and Tea Break

All tea break will be served at exhibition room. As for lunch, it will be served at the Foyer, Island Ballroom.

Speakers’ Preview Room

The Speakers’ Preview Room, Shangri- La Hotel, Red Gardenia Room, Mezzanine Level will be available for invited speakers at the conference. All invited speakers must report at least 2 hours prior to their presentation or the day before in order to check and deposit their presentations.

Lost & Found

Lost Items may be required at the Registration Desk, Shangri- La Hotel, Foyer at Island Ballroom. All delegates are advised to always carry their personal belongings with them, as beyond the conference areas, Shangri- La Hotel is accessible to the general public and hotel guests. The organizers will not be held liable for any loss of private property belonging to delegates and accompany persons.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Points

The conference is an accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) event. Local registered doctors who are claiming CME points under the conference must record their Medical Council Register (MCR) numbers clearly on the attendance form at the end of each session. The Organising Committee will not be held liable for unsuccessful claims of CME points due to incorrect or illegible MCR numbers recorded on the attendance form. Kindly proceed to the entrance of Jurong Ballroom for CME Signing.

Certificate of Attendance

The Certificate of Attendance will be available for download on the Conference Website 2 weeks after the Conference.

Language

The official language of the conference is English. There will not be any translation service being provided for this conference.

Money Matters

The currency used in Singapore is the Singapore Dollar (SGD). Money changing services can be found at the Shangri- La hotel, Changi Airport, as well as most shopping centres and other hotels around the island.
